The Puddle Baggy Jean is the widest cut in the line — a full-leg denim built to break and pool over the shoe.
DenimRigid mid-weight cotton denim, woven with a slight slub so the surface breaks unevenly as it wears. Sanforized before cutting to hold sizing after wash.
WashLight wash achieved through a stone and enzyme process, then hand-sanded at the thigh, seat and back pocket edges to build natural high-low contrast. Whiskering and honeycombs are set by hand, not printed, so no two pairs abrade identically.
PatternMid-rise waist, very wide straight leg with a deep inseam so the hem stacks. Extended crotch gusset for room through the seat.
ConstructionChain-stitched waistband and hem, flat-felled inseam, five-pocket layout with a coin pocket, copper-tone rivets at every stress point and bartacks at the fly and pocket mouths.
HardwareBranded shank button, heavy zip fly with a locking slider, leather-look patch at the rear waistband.
CareMachine wash cold inside out, hang dry to preserve the wash. Avoid high heat, which will flatten the sanding contrast.

All measurements are taken flat, in inches, on the garment itself — not body measurements. Allow up to half an inch of tolerance on cut-and-sew pieces.
Fit notes
- Baggy through the thigh with a straight, stacked leg.
- Rigid denim — waist gives about half an inch after a few wears.
- Hems are cut long on purpose; take them up if you prefer no stack.

- Lay flat, measure across the top of the waistband and double it.
- Hip
- Measure across 8" below the waistband and double it.

- Measure across 1" below the crotch seam and double it.
- Inseam
- From the crotch seam down the inner leg to the hem.
- Leg opening
- Measure across the hem opening and double it.
- Front rise
- From the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband.
Lay the garment flat on a hard surface, smooth out the fabric and measure with a tape held straight — never stretched. Compare against a piece you already own for the closest match.
