The Shred Straight Jean is a true straight-leg denim with controlled destruction — placed, not random.
DenimMid-weight cotton denim with a firm hand that softens over about two weeks of wear. Faded-black colourways are over-dyed after weaving, so the black breaks toward grey at the abrasion points instead of going brown.
DestructionShredding is done on a pattern: knee slashes are cut, then backed with a bar of exposed warp threads so the opening holds its shape and doesn't run down the leg. Thigh and hem abrasions are hand-sanded and re-washed to soften the edges. Every opening is either backed or bartacked at the ends.
PatternMid-rise, straight through the thigh and knee with a clean break at the ankle — no taper.
ConstructionFive-pocket build, flat-felled inseam, chain-stitched hem, rivets at all six pocket corners, double-needle back yoke.
HardwareBranded shank button, zip fly with locking slider, woven ZC flag at the coin pocket.
CareMachine wash cold inside out on a gentle cycle, hang dry. Zip and button before washing so the hardware doesn't catch the shredded panels.

- Lay flat, measure across the top of the waistband and double it.
